The one with our favourite posts

Sumitra, who writes at The Daily Moo, has tagged me to write about some of my favourite posts, under a few different categories. I am sure this is going to be a lot of fun – looking back on my old posts and reflecting on them! 🙂

So, here goes:

1. Your Most Beautiful Post

I think it is this one – a piece of fiction that I wrote on a whim.

2. Your Most Popular Post

The post that I think is my most beautiful one is also my most popular one, I think. I was stupefied when the comments on this post kept on coming even days after it went live.

3. Your Most Controversial Post

I don’t really post about much controversial stuff; I usually try to steer clear of controversy. However, this post did spark off quite a discussion, and led to a lot of thinking.

4. Your Most Helpful Post

I think this is my most helpful post. As someone once told me: ‘It is a tutorial’. 🙂

5. A Post’s Success that Surprised You

This post was a deeply personal one, and I wasn’t expecting the response that it got. I hadn’t expected many people to relate to it.

6. A Post you Feel Didn’t Get the Attention it Deserved

I feel it is this one. I would have loved to see more active participation from many more book lovers here.

7. The Post you’re Most Proud of

I am very happy and proud of the way this post turned out. I wrote it in the middle of a busy work day, without having given the subject much thought. The words kept flowing, and I loved where it ultimately took me. I would say this is the post that I am the most proud of.

  2. I read them all too ! 🙂 Whee. And need I say that I thoroughly enjoyed them? you are one of the first bloggers I started reading and that’s why your blog is part of the special few 🙂

    Oh and also, I saw a nice good series of Roald Dahl and our very own (actually my own, okie?) RB :)) Planning to buy it. I bought another series (of which I will do a review soon and am really looking forward to reading it) and hence postponed the purchase. I will soon soon buy them – esp. Roald Dahl coz’ I haven’t read most of the stories that I found in that series. RB – I’ll probably buy his books in India (they somehow smell better and more variety in the collection of his works)
    thought of you when I saw RB, so just like that ! 🙂

      That is very sweet of you. 🙂 I have read most of Roald Dahl’s books, but have quite a few to go as far as Ruskin Bond’s works are concerned. Looking forward to your reviews.

  5. I love this meme! Unfortunately, I am pressed for time and cannot read all of your posts at this point, but hopefully will be able to retun soon.:) One of the things I love about blogging is the element of surprise. You never really know what will happen to a post, who may read it and what comments it may garner–that’s exciting!
