Do you know, most of the houses used to have miniature versions of these, where you could just sit inside? We had one at home, and the yearly trips we used to make to our grandmother’s house in that was so much fun. There were tiny windows from which we could look out and even dip our hands in the water
And the better off ones had their own private motor boats, it was like having your own car 🙂

It is a very peaceful place, Vishal. Right in the middle of Vembanad Lake. There was no sound to be heard except that of birds and the water. 🙂 A massage for the soul alright.
