… getting a chance to gorge on the wonderful, wonderful Chocolate Feuillant at Lazy Suzy, Indiranagar.
‘Feuillant’ is French for ‘leaf’, and this dessert lives up to its name, being decorated with paper-thin leaves made of chocolate. Beneath all those leaves (which are delicious, BTW) is sinful, beautiful chocolate mousse that is just perfect. This is one dessert that tastes as good as it looks. I would give it full marks for presentation and for taste, and say that it is one of the best desserts that the city of Bangalore has to offer its chocoholics.
For the uninitiated, Lazy Suzy is a new entrant in the line of plush cafes in Bangalore, located in Indiranagar. It is slowly getting noticed for its lovely desserts, but sells sandwiches, coffee, and a few other snacks and drinks as well. Prices are on the higher side.
I loved the cosy feel of the cafe, and the old-house-like look of the place. If you are in the area, I would highly recommend a visit!
The OH had the Blueberry Cheesecake here, and though both of us didn’t like it, the Chocolate Feuillant more than made up for it – that and the welcoming ambience of the cafe.
I can’t wait to get back to this place again, to try out all the other interesting desserts on their menu!
Have you been to Lazy Suzy yet? What would you recommend from the menu?
