Bangalore, In Frames

Bangalore captured on my camera, one frame at a time. Random pictures from here and there in the city. Hope you enjoy them.

Lost in thoughts…
Graffiti outside Jyoti Nivas College, Koramangala.
Huge trumpet flowers that caught my fancy instantly. Not sure what they are called.
Nazarbattu – protection against the evil eye – Indian style. This is apparently working, because we spotted some HUGE jackfruits on this tree.
A snake hill (?) being worshipped by devotees on the occasion of Naga Panchami
Jungle-like! Near Cubbon Park.
The twin towers of Bangalore, near Hebbal
One of my most favourite places in the city – Church Street.
Hessarughatta lake 020
Somewhere near Hesarughatta Lake
Sad state of the autos in Bangalore
Books, books, books everywhere, at Avenue Road

Want to read more about the graffiti artist, Shilo Shiv Suleiman (the one who designed the graffiti in the second picture)? Hop on here!

The green cover in Bangalore has definitely gone down, and the concrete-ness has increased, yes, but I still find the city greener than many others. And, yes, there definitely is a lot of fun to be had in this city! Thank you! πŸ™‚
