She’s a total cutie pie, and the OH and I are completely besotted with her. Yes, there have been parenting struggles (already!), but nothing can quite beat the feeling of her snuggling up to my neck or feeding. It is an out-of-the-world feeling that I cannot describe in words.
There were so many times I wanted to break the news of my pregnancy to you guys, but I didn’t want to jinx it by writing about it too soon.
I wish I could say I have recorded at least a few moments of the journey of my pregnancy, for posterity. Sadly, I haven’t. I do want to put them down in words soon, before I forget all about them. They do deserve to be recorded.

Congratulations tgnd!! We have both become new moms around the same time:) Mine is a lil boy. The first month was quite a trial for me. I found playing mommy to a completely dependent and helpless being to be very overwhelming and pressurising. But am slowly settling down now and beginning to enjoy the whole thing 🙂

Well, my not going to working had nothing to do with my pregnancy. I quit my job long before I got pregnant. 🙂 And my reading speed – I think I have been averaging four books a month, which is what it was earlier too. 😀
Yes, I agree this is a beautiful phase, even with all the ups and downs involved. We are doing our best to enjoy every moment to the fullest.
